CREAMY CARAMEL-PECAN ROLLS

Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you'll appreciate my first recipe in English.
This is a typical Fall-theme one, which was given to me by an American teacher of my 4-year-old daughter.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans (or walnuts, if you do not find pecans)
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
white bread dough or sweel roll dough
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
3/4 cup raisins

PREPARATION

Grease some baking pans (two or three depending on size). Set pans aside. For topping, in a small bowl stir together the powdered sugar and whipping cream. Divide evenly between the pans, sprinkle pecans (or walnuts) over sugar mixture.
In another bowl stir brown sugar and cinnamor. On a lightly floured surface, roll each loaf of dought into a rectangle. brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar-cinnamon mixture and raisins.
Roll up each rectangle starting from the long side. Slice each roll into 10-12 pieaces. Place each piece, cut sides down, on topping in pans.
Cover, let rise in a warm place until nearly double (about 30 minutes). Break any surface bubbles with a greased toothpick. Bake in an oven (20-25 minutes at 180°C). Cool in pans on a wire rack for 5 minutes). Serve warm, if possible.
Hope you'll enjoy!!
